Areas of focus
Mark focuses on wealth building and estate planning.

Wealth building
Whether you’ve accumulated your wealth by taking the helm of your own business, serving as a corporate executive, or managing family assets, the financial challenges you face are unlike anyone else’s. Mark looks at your overall financial picture to provide you with an analysis for your goals:
  • Cash flow
  • Budgeting
  • Strategic and tactical asset allocation
  • Higher education accounts
  • Retirement
  • Estate planning
This analysis will serve as a valuable benchmark against which you and Mark can measure your investment performance toward achieving your goals.

Estate and wealth preservation issues

Mark can assist in reviewing or helping you develop an estate plan to simplify the transfer of your estate to family members.  Proper estate planning can use lifetime gifts and trusts to minimize or eliminate your estate tax liability.  Mark will work with you and your other professional advisors, including your CPA and attorney, to develop the strategy that is most appropriate for your situation.

Mark’s investment process

Mark believes a well-thought-out plan should serve as the foundation of a long-term relationship with a client.  He uses advanced technology plus the skills that he has developed over his 25 years in the personal investment/securities industry. Mark uses a four-step process to design your customized investments plan:

Step 1Understand your goals

Mark first conducts a personal interview with you to obtain the background data needed to develop your plan.  If appropriate, he also consults with your other professional advisors, including your attorney and tax advisor, to understand all the pertinent details of your financial circumstances, including your tolerance for risk.

Step 2Develop a plan

Your second meeting with Mark is designed to develop a shared vision of your dreams.  He will perform a comprehensive presentation in one easy-to-digest report that you can consider.  You will have the opportunity to raise questions and confirm his interpretation of your investment goals and risk tolerance.  Once this is done, he will review specific investment recommendations for your approval.

Step 3Implement recommendations

At this point, Mark will execute the investment recommendations based on your approved plan.

Step 4Evaluate progress

Like all progressive plans with goals, your financial future requires ongoing long term maintenance to work towards future events.  Your plan will be reviewed regularly, and the allocations within your portfolio will be rebalanced as necessary based on changes in the market or circumstances in your life.  Once your plan is in place, you will receive monthly statements and quarterly valuations of your portfolio plus an annual tax summary.

Mark is always available for fielding questions for you, your family and friends and supporting your progress in any way he can.
